In celebration of National STEM Day on NOV8, all MCSD secondary schools participated in the 3rd Annual Manufacturing Expo featuring the MCSD STEMposium at the Pavilion.
This is the first in a series of videos highlighting the awesome STEM work our students are doing and how it is preparing them for postsecondary college and career opportunities. Olathe Middle High School students share their STEM experiences and postsecondary aspirations in the video below!
The 2019 Western SlopeSeaPerch Competitionwill be held Saturday, March 2nd starting at 8am at the Montrose Rec Center. Students will have two different challenges to navigate. The first challenge is the standard SeaPerch obstacle course of 6 hoops. The second challenge is the "Mission Challenge" where students will simulate helping people trapped underwater in a cave by bringing them supplies.
